Obserwacja ewolucji Avalon Emerson skłania do przyznania racji porzekadłu, że muzyka z czasem łagodzi obyczaje, a w największym stopniu dotyka to samego twórcę. Amerykanka debiutowała ponad dekadę temu jako DJ-ka i producentka serii udanych EP-ek wypełnionych melodyjnymi odmianami techno i tech house'u. Na moje ucho były one angażujące na przyzwoitym poziomie, trzymające ciśnienie i dodające nieco awangardy do klasycznie aerobikowej formuły gatunków. Dym z wytwornic i małe piwnice utraciły jednak z czasem prymat na rzecz naturalnego oświetlenia i jasnych pejzaży jak u Moneta. Rotacja „ Ö ” w moim wirtualnym odtwarzaczu to efekt kręcenia gatunkowymi filtrami Rate Your Music, które w okresach wydawniczej odwilży najskuteczniej prowadzą od premiery do premiery. Fcukers stanowią efekt tej zabawy i gdyby nie diabelska ciekawość, to do ich pełnowymiarowego debiutu dotarłbym raczej okrężną drogą. Kilka miesięcy w plecy i frajda z pisania o nim po prostu by wyparowała, bo to muzyka wybitnie aktualna pod każdym aspektem . Regularnie publikowane przez zespół w ostatnich trzech latach single (pięć z nich ostatecznie zasiliło krążek) całkowicie mi umknęły, dlatego cieszy, że w erze pełnej swobody dystrybucji muzyki kogoś jeszcze bawi bardziej zorganizowana forma jej prezentacji. Amerykański duet, dla którego z racji metryki mógłby to być już zrozumiały anachronizm, wypada na tym zabiegu więcej niż korzystnie. Pomysł jest tutaj  naiwnie prosty, bo i hedonistyczny rave nie powinien komplikować życia.  „ Ö ” jest w swoich założeniach  tak czytelna...
